If you’ve been concerned that Spider Man will no longer be having solo adventures in the MCU after the latest movie, then we have some good news for you. Sony and Marvel have come to a new agreement on the hero.
In an interview with Fandango, producer Amy Pascal announced more Spider-Man films as part of the MCU. For some time now, the hero’s future in this universe has been in doubt. All because of the existing agreement between Sony and Marvel under which Peter Parker would appear in a few more productions. However, they would not be focused on it. Now we can expect another trilogy with this hero in the Marvel movie universe.
Interestingly, the recent statement of Tom Holland, the current spider-man, indicated his plans to end playing this character soon. A few weeks ago, the actor pointed out that if he stays with this character when he is in his thirties, it means that he has made a mistake. Of course, there are versions of the spider man in the comics other than Peter Parker, but we won’t say goodbye too soon.
So how many more productions will come out of the latest Marvel and Sony collaboration? There will definitely be one more Spider-Man trilogy and at least twice as many different crossovers. In addition, you cannot exclude the incarnation of characters such as Venom (which has recently been suggested) and Morbius, which will debut on the big screen early next year, into the MCU.
Meanwhile, on December 17th, Spider-Man: No Way Home will premiere .
