Amazon is working on a live-action Spider-Man Noir series , possibly for Amazon Prime Video. The title character had already appeared in the animated Mega Spider-Man , where he was voiced by Milo Ventimiglia, and in Spider-Man Into the Spider-Verse; We could hear Nicolas Cage in this role. We won’t see Peter Parker in this alternate version of Spider-Man .
Variety reports that Amazon is working on another Spider-Man title. Oren Uziel is writing and producing Spider-Man Noir . The executive producers are also Phil Lord, Christopher Miller and Amy Pascal (former head of Sony), who previously oversaw the Spider-Man Universe project.
In the meantime, another Spider-Man production is in the making for Amazon Prime Video. We are talking about the series Silk: Spider Society , which is written and produced by showrunner Angela Kang ( The Walking Dead ).
Katherine Pope, the new president of Sony Pictures Television Studios, mentioned in an interview with Deadline about productions from the Spider-Man universe:
We are all very focused on them, me in particular. I was already a fan of Angela Kang, so I’m really excited to work with her on Silk. She is a great and total professional.
Angela Kang herself is excited about Silk :
I am more than thrilled to join the Amazon Studios family for the next chapter in my career.
