Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse will finally get the second part! Originally titled Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse 2, the movie was renamed Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse (Part One) . The creators decided to break the story into two parts. The premiere of the first is scheduled for October 7 next year, and the second is initially scheduled to appear in 2023.
A first look at Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse (Part One) shows a scene from the new production. Elder Miles Morales (Shameik Moore’s voice) is listening to music in his room. Suddenly, a portal opens above his head and Spider-Gwen (Hailee Steinfeld) jumps out of it. The heroine comes from a parallel universe in which she, not Peter Parker, was bitten by a radioactive spider. The girl tries to get Miles out of the room, but Miles resists because … he has a barrier. As Miles Morales continues, Miguel O’Hara and Gwen Stacy team up to defeat a formidable villain.
The first film in the series was extremely successful, appreciated by both fans and critics (Oscar for animation). There are high expectations for the next parts. As Miles drops through the multiverse, each world has its own unique graphics, which further raises hopes for a very good production.
