Something out of nothing, or how to make your time with “CARDBLOCKS”

CARDBLOCKS construction blocks can be used to create furniture, buildings, robots or other types of objects. Not only is it interesting, it is also entertaining! The game is also unique because it is environmentally friendly.

The game set includes 49 cardboard sheets (we build a block from each of them), 1 assembled block, approx. 600 connectors (also made of cardboard) and instructions. The product is Polish, and its originator is Piotr Nawracała. Huge applause for him, for creating a product that is not only ecological (all game elements except the manual are made of the most durable paper material) , but also innovative (after all, we are building something other than Lego), it must have been quite a challenge. It paid off! CARDBLOCKS is captivating , as evidenced by the appearance of accessories on the market, such as PLATON SOLIDS, DOME or ROTUNDA . There is therefore a lot to choose from.

Designer furniture and epic temples

With the basic set, which is the one I have, we are unlikely to do St. Peter, but the Egyptian pyramids are. There are only (and at the same time!) Square shapes at our disposal. I do not recommend buying all add-ons right away, because in my understanding such behavior may limit creativity. You know, it’s better to fish for half an hour longer, what else to create from these rectangles (and what if we think of a great design, for example a modern chair) than to reach for the next elements right away. Which does not mean that it is not worth buying more parts later!

Building is not everything! Use crayons

Apart from the fact that while playing the game you can feel like Bob the Builder (only the more mature one), this is not the end. We can also discover the artist’s soul (painter / graffiicist) and color our blocks! I believe that this is simply a brilliant thing. What’s more, we can color our architectural works with both crayons and felt-tip pens, pens or anything else that comes to our mind.

Stairs and a suitcase made by me. I am just starting my adventure with CARDBLOCKS , so I did not try to build large buildings, but stairs are also fun. PS. Will paint them soon!

Pros: Everything I wrote about above. In addition, respect for the inclusion of a QR code in the proposal, which, after scanning, sends us back to the video-instructions for installing the blocks.

Cons : The cardboard box doesn’t quite do the job, but it might be a matter of time to finally find a way to put game pieces inside so there’s no problem with closing it. This is really the only downside to this item.

Fun of building CARDBLOCKS s   may draw both lovers of architecture and interior design, but also people who love to create something. If you’ve enjoyed building and decorating your Sims’ homes, this product is for you! To encourage some of you to buy it, I would like to add that the Internet is full of ideas for the arrangement of built interiors or concepts for interesting structures. A hit for me!
