Mr. Big Belly
How can you name a lazy goblet? Big Belly or even Pasibrzych! A giant appears in the ruined castle of Gargamel, whose characteristic feature is that he never stops being hungry. When reading a comic, we may get the impression that if he could, he would eat the whole world! As we can expect, Gargamel is not the best cook, and his pantry is empty … So he decides to use a trick – he lies to Pasibrzuch and encourages him to look for the Smurfs, and in return offers to prepare a soup made of little blue gnomes. The title story of the notebook will make readers laugh to tears! Pasibrzuch is a tragic hero and only Papa Smurf can save the village and its inhabitants from… a consumption disaster!
A good smurf worth joke
The second part of the notebook contains several short stories. Thanks to them, we get to know the life of the Smurfs from a slightly different perspective. We have the opportunity to observe, among others: how much insubordination the pupils of Papa Smurf sometimes show, who is the biggest glutton in the village (while remaining unaware of it!), What a smurf game of chess looks like and how severe is the punishment for using non-empressive words. In the comic, we get to know the vices of the inhabitants of the Smurfs’ Village – both the talkative talk of Więcniak and the undisputed (?) Talent of Harmonius. We also learn that smurfing is no small art, and for those who will try to cheat, fate has prepared funny surprises. In the last story, Smurfette will return to the Smurfs Village, looking for … a husband among her blue brothers. There will be plenty of blonde beauties for the hand.
Comic book adventures
In the latest notebook, the heroes experience many unpleasant situations, but – surprisingly! – the reader may be positively surprised. The Smurfs, although they belong to a completely different universe, are similar to humans. They do not always burst with good humor, what is more – they can be scared, jealous, bored or upset. This makes the characters more credible, after all, candy smurf stories would probably not gain so many fans. It is safe to say that although all the stories in the notebook end well, the overtone of this album is rather negative. However, this fact does not affect the smile that will appear on the reader’s face many times while reading it. The Smurfs entertain us as intensely as ever.
