A horror movie trailer has just been released , a horror movie in which the killer is supposed to be a sloth. The trailer shows that the production will not be too serious.
Slotherhouse tells the story of Emily Young, a student who aspires to become the president of her sorority. When she adopts a sloth, it becomes the house mascot and gives her some votes in the process. The pet is also given the name Alpha. As the sorority’s beloved pet, no one at first believes he may be behind the series of deaths. The film becomes a story about student survival.
While Cocaine Bear and Pooh: Blood and Honey were R-rated for their hyper-violent take on murderous animals, the trailer hints that Slotherhouse will be rated PG-13.
Slotherhouse is written by Bradley Fowler and directed by Matthew Goodhue . The film stars Lisa Ambalavanar, Sydney Craven, Olivia Rouyre, Kelly Lynn Reiter, Bianca Beckles-Rose, Andrew Horton, Sutter Nolan, Grace Patterson, Milica Vrzic, Annamaria Serda, Rudi Rok, Tiff Stevenson and Stefan Kapicic.
Slotherhouse hits theaters on August 30.
