Climatic illustrations and brawl
The illustration for the game is handled by Ramie Badie, who you may know as one of the co-creators of Wacky Unicorns . The pastel colors contrast with the merciless sabotage of opponents and fierce battles with monsters such as the Feather Serpent, Flame Tiger and Froggang. Their names undoubtedly testify to the creativity of the originators of the board game.
Using throw modifiers and equipping our heroes with various types of items diversify the gameplay. The first player to tame three monsters or assemble a team of 6 different classes (Warrior, Bard, Ranger, Hunter, Thief and Wizard) wins. Each turn, the player has three action points at his disposal (whether he chooses to fight monsters, draw, activate or play cards – is his choice). There are many options. Each one provides a lot of entertainment.
Compact size
In a small package you will find the main deck (115 standard size cards), 6 large team leader cards, 15 large monster cards, 6 help cards, 2 d6 dice and instructions. It is worth noting that each of the above elements is solid and will be appreciated by lovers of interesting design. My heart, in particular, was stolen by the bones.
In Poland, we will get the game through the Rebel publishing house.
PS I have a soft spot for both Rebel and compact, loose card games. Here is a review of one of them. I sincerely recommend!
Create your own hero
At UnstableUnicorns.com/HeretoSlay, we have the option to create and print a team leader according to your own ideas. In my opinion, it is a great marketing procedure to bind potential players to the card game, and also to introduce even more humor to it. I’m for yes!
