As Warner Bros. Last year, "The Batman" was scheduled to start in early 2020, and so it happened. The first shots of the London set, which will be the Gotham City film set, have leaked. We also know the planned release date!
The first shots from the set of the new movie The Batman by Matt Reeves and Warner Bros. represent the city of Gotham City. Recordings are taking place in London. The photos show typical English tenement houses with characteristic bay windows. The foreground shows, among others, the Gotham City Police, a police car, and the van of TV station 4 – the Gotham Action News program.
In the latest screen adaptation based on the DC comics about Batman from Bill Finger and Bob Kane, the main characters will play:
- Robert Pattinson – Bruce Wayne/Batman,
- Andy Serkis – Alfred Pennyworth,
- Zoë Kravitz – Selina Kyle / Catwoman (Catwoman),
- Colin Farrell – Oswald Cobblepot/Pingwin,
- Paul Dano – Edward Nashton / The Riddler (The Riddler),
- John Turturro – Carmine Falcone,
- Jeffrey Wright – Commissioner Gordon.
