Willa wreaks havoc and fire in the third volume of her adventures! This time the girl is separated from the team of five Abklęte brothers and has to show herself her survival skills. Does she manage to survive and not let chaos become beta?
After the clash between humans and Sol in volume two, nothing in God is the same. Although relatively calm, the atmosphere is still tense, and neither the earthlings nor the potential gods know what turn the matter between them should take. Additionally, Willa senses with her whole body that something is wrong, because her half-sister suddenly begins to disappear and prevent the girl from doing her affairs. Knight herself still has the whole Chaos Beta scandal to solve, as well as a sparkling sexual overtone and hot-eyed relationship with the Ablaus brothers. It seems impossible to reconcile everything, especially as the revealed powers begin to take control of their wearer more and more.
I can’t come in here? SO I AM GOING!
As with the previous parts, Curse of the Gods is typically a book for relaxation and reading that does not require much concentration. The authors outline for us a whole series of adventures of Willa, which this time does not make as many unwise decisions as before, because … she is simply not able to. The reason is repeated loss of consciousness. The protagonist tries to understand what or who causes them, but before she gets to the bottom of it, she sometimes burns and gets rid of a few people. Of course, it also does not do without the girl’s standard behavior, such as shining her naked legs or using large amounts of swearing in her energetic and often aggressive statements. Much of the book does not feature the Glassware this time, but in those moments when they are, their behavior seems to be much less thoughtful than in the first and second parts. Unfortunately boys, despite their fantastic beauty, in this publication they are more boring myomas than flirting deities. I would not recommend this book to young people anymore due to the fact that there are erotic scenes in it (older fans will probably be happy about this fact), not lined with love, but with ordinary hot rulers.
You are not human, you are not Sol
I have a bit of mixed feelings about the story line in this part. On the one hand, it can be seen that the authors wanted to intrigue readers, as they broadened the theme of Willa’s origin and its inherent chaos. On the other hand, when reading, it seemed that the action was not smooth. Although the events follow one another chronologically, they do not have that much connection with each other and are also depicted very shallowly. I also missed the humor that made me smile earlier, and there were too many unfounded traumas. In my opinion, the authors definitely unnecessarily wanted to add a deeper meaning and a more difficult plot to the comedy with erotic threads (for example: Willa’s training and what she heard during it was strange and twisted).
Only for female fans
I think that some female fans will be satisfied with the fact that erotic scenes will finally appear. Such readers will not be bothered that the story itself could be better elaborated. Unfortunately, I belong to the latter group, who would like the environment that leads to close-ups to be better thought out, written and build more tension. To sum up – I am a bit disappointed, but I will reach for the next parts anyway, because it was not my favorite Abclaves that Willa slept with in this volume.
