Sequel to “Dune” with a slight delay

Warner Bros.

Unfortunately, the sequel to last year’s science fiction hit will be released late. The good news is that the premiere has been slightly postponed.

The second part of Dune will officially hit theaters in November 2023. This means that the film will debut with only a month delay (previously the premiere was planned for October). The reasons for this decision have not yet been disclosed. In the case of the previous painting, the reason for several postponements of the release date was the coronavirus pandemic.

The sequel to Dune will tell the story from the second half of the science fiction novel by Frank Herbert. The film features Timothé Chalamet, Rebecca Ferguson, Zendaya, Stellan Skarsgård, Dave Bautista and Josh Brolin again. They will be joined by Florence Pugh, Christopher Walken, Léa Seydoux and Austin Butler, whose participation in the production has been announced in recent months.

Parallel to the film, a serial spinoff is also being made. The painting, titled Dune: The Sisterhood , will be available on HBO Max. We do not know the release date of this project yet.
