Sega is officially interested in filming the Persona series and several other titles in the Atlus studio. According to information from IGN, one of the most famous game publishers in the world wants these games to hit both large and small screens. We do not know the specific production plans yet.
In his speech, the head of Sega’s film and television department – Toru Nakahara – explained the reasons for the decision. The producer noted that the games created by Atlus are well known for their suspenseful stories, great style and captivating characters. That is why the Japanese concern wants to expand these brands and transfer them to other media.
Sega and Atlus have been quite loud lately. Just a few days ago, it was announced that the third, fourth and fifth installments of the Persona series will hit the Nintendo Switch. Even earlier, the release of Persona 3 Portable , Persona 4 Golden and Persona 5 Royal for Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and 5, as well as for personal computers via the Steam store, was revealed.
