In addition to announcing the third season of Doom Patrol , Warner Bros also mentioned the new season of Young Justice , titled Young Justice : Phantoms . The announcement came via DC FanDome during the Young Justice panel hosted by Chris E. Hayner of GameSpot . The producers of the series say that the work on the animation is already underway, and so far we have received a new logo announcing the upcoming season. It has not been revealed whether Young Justice : Phantoms will be an exclusive DC Universe title, like the previous season of the series, titled Young Justice: Outsiders , or it will go to HBO max, as did Doom Patrol .
The panel did not reveal any specific details about the plot of Young Justice: Phantoms . The voice-over cast of the series performed an original script set between the events of Outsiders and Phantoms. In the script, Superboy (Nolan North) and Miss Martian (Danica McKellar) leave the band to go on their own journey. Meanwhile, Artemis (Stephanie Lemelin) invites Arsenal to rejoin the group, and he accepts them.
Young Justice fans may remember that the team is divided. Beast decided to break away from the rest, and some young heroes joined him in a new group called Outsiders .
