During the San Diego Comic Con 2019 festival, the star of the series Henry Cavill showed the fans gathered in Hall H the first trailer of The Witcher series. There was also a panel discussion led by Yvette Nicole Brown (Community, Mom), attended by showrunner Lauren Schmidt Hissrich and cast members: Cavill (Geralt of Rivia), Anya Chalotra (Yennefer) and Frey Allan (Ciri).

Based on the best-selling series of novels, The Witcher series is a story about destiny and family. Geralt of Rivia, a lone monster hunter, tries to find his place in a world where people often turn out to be worse than the most terrible monsters. On his way, he meets a powerful sorceress and a young princess hiding a dangerous secret. Now the three of them have to find themselves among the dangers awaiting them on the Continent.
Henry Cavill ( Mission Impossible – Fallout, Justice League ) will play Geralt of Rivia and Anya Chalotra ( ABC, Wanderlust ) as Yennefer and Freya Allan ( War of the Worlds, Land of the Lawless ) as Ciri will play the other lead roles .
