Surely we all know the famous detective dog, who is an important part of childhood for many generations from 1969 until today as new animations about our favorite Scooby are coming out all the time. Recently, he had the opportunity to experience new adventures in the company of various celebrities.
Scooby-Doo among famous personalities
In the latest episodes about the adventures of Scooby-Doo and the Mystery Company, the main characters are waiting for many new puzzles to solve, full of horror and other spooky. Fortunately, they do not have to face them alone, because they are helped by various personalities from the world of pop culture: from Batman, through the singer się, and the famous musician Weird Al Yankovic, to the astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson. In the second part of the first season, the viewer will have 152 minutes of fun and seven dark puzzles to solve in the company of stars.
Scooby-Doo as reliable as ever
The new investigations conducted by Scooby, Shaggy, Velma, Daphne and Fred follow the pattern of the well-known old scenes of animation. You might think that this spoils the surprise effect, but it is not. Anyway, even if we are sure who the villains are, it is a great pastime to watch the heroes try to figure out the mystery.
In the second part we will see as many as seven episodes in which everyone will find something for themselves. DC fans will surely be delighted with the Batman, and those interested in science or robotics will also not be able to tear themselves away from the screen, especially during the first and last episode.
While Scooby-Doo is definitely intended for a younger audience, the older viewer will have a lot of fun too. Characters who in themselves can make an adult audience nostalgic express their cult lines. They behave in a typical way: they separate as always (Velma, Shaggy and Scooby-Doo in one group, Daphne and Fred in the other), at Fred’s persuasion, they set traps, Velma loses her glasses, without which, of course, she cannot see anything, and Shaggy and his best canine friend are still obsessed with food and their favorite snacks.
The animation is most suitable for children. The monsters and ghosts that plague the main characters in the story always turn out to be human in the end. There is no blood, no curses – the new series does not differ in the standard of humor and fit for a young viewer from the previous well-known adventures.
What’s more, the new episodes are even more attractive to viewers of all ages because of celebrities and famous scientists. Fans can have more fun as their favorite superhero solves puzzles with the Mystery Company, but also meet new celebrities they haven’t heard of before.
The episodes are short, so there’s no time to get bored. Unfortunately , the album, released in our country by the Galapagos , does not contain any additions and no booklet was attached to the box, but in this edition you can watch the adventures of a detective dog in many languages, with or without subtitles.
Does Scooby-Doo still look good after all these years?
Absolutely – the creators of Scooby-Doo and … guess who? they did not differ from the classic animation look. The characters or places where the heroes conduct their investigations look just as great as those to which we are all used to.
The second part of the first season of Scooby-Doo and … guess who? it is definitely worth your attention. This is a format that we all know, but can still be viewed with interest if we also put ourselves into the role of detectives. This content is suitable for children, maybe not the youngest, because we are still dealing with a scary clown or a huge, dangerous dinosaur, but for those a bit older, by all means. There are always people hidden under the masks of monsters, so the kids will not be afraid of all the scary creatures that the villains dress up as. The creators indicated on the box that “it’s 152 minutes of fun” and it’s hard to disagree with them.
