The first preview of the movie, which will soon be premiered on DVD, has hit the network. Two scared dogs Scooby-Doo and Courage will try to solve the mystery of the winged monster - cicada.
Scooby-Doo and friends end up in Nowhere, Kansas, where supernatural phenomena take place. Murile and Eustace Bagge (Muriel and Eustachy Motyka) live in this town together with Chojrak – a cowardly dog. Fate crosses the fate of two quadrupeds. Now they will have to work together to explain the existence of a terrifying cicada that scares the whole area heralding the arrival of an army of insects. But if they have enough courage?
The film is sure to cause a fierce nostalgia in those of us who grew up watching Scooby-Doo and Courage , and bring these wonderful characters to a new generation of viewers
Director and producer Cecilia Aranovich said in a statement

Connecting the two worlds in a coherent way was one of the most difficult aspects of production. However, I feel we’ve found the right balance by bringing in design elements and a color palette from the world of Courage, as well as saturated Scooby with the more exaggerated shots and reactions that are so characteristic of Courage.
Straight Outta Nowhere: Scooby-Doo Meets Courage the Cowardly Dog premieres on September 14 on DVD and Blu-ray.
