After productions such as Batgirl and Scoob!: Holiday Haunt were canceled as part of cost-cutting , fans were unsure whether a crossover in which two famous dogs – Scooby-Doo and Krypto would meet. As it turns out, the project was not rejected and now we can see its trailer!
Scooby-Doo! and Krypto, Too! is an animated film in which Scooby and his friends team up with Superman’s dog and investigate the case of the disappearance of the Justice League. Created by Hanna-Barbera and DC Comics for Warner Bros. will be released directly to DVD and Blu-Ray.
The official description of the film’s plot reads as follows:
The world’s greatest heroes, the Justice League, have mysteriously disappeared, and a terrifying specter has taken up residence in the Hall of Justice. Now it’s up to the world’s best super detectives, Scooby and his gang, to solve the mystery and save the heroes… with a little help from their new superdog buddy Krypto!
On the screen, apart from the already mentioned characters, we also see Superman, Lex Luthor, Lois Lane, Joker, Harley Quinn, Wonder Woman, Tara Strong and Solomon Grundy. The premiere in the United States is scheduled for September 26, 2023. The rest of the world will have to wait a month longer.
