Free Guy is an American science fiction action comedy from the creators of the cinematic Deadpool, directed by Shawn Levy, based on a screenplay by Matt Lieberman and Zak Penn and a short story by Lieberman. The film is starring Ryan Reynolds, Jodie Comer, Joe Keery, Lil Rel Howery, Utkarsh Ambudkar and Taika Waititi.

Guy is your average Free City banking clerk who, quite by accident, discovers that he is a supporting player in an open-ended video game. In an unrestricted reality, he decides to take matters into his own hands, save his world, and become a hero of his own script!

The movie’s premiere is scheduled for May 21, 2021 .
