According to the latest findings, there are many indications that content and characters from Donkey Kong Country will appear in the new amusement park and the Super Nintendo World application.
The opening of Super Nintendo World at Universal Studios Japan is scheduled for February 4, 2021. The theme park will focus mainly on characters from the Super Mario series. However, it looks like Nintendo and Universal may also have plans to introduce content and characters based on the Donkey Kong franchise! According to the latest findings shared by @KRoolKountry on Twitter, she has revealed a series of Donkey Kong-inspired stickers that will be coming to the Super Nintendo World app.
The Donkey Kong series holds a special place in the hearts of many Nintendo fans despite the lack of new gorilla games since 2015. The series brings together generations of both those raised in the 1994 SNES trilogy and the previous series, which first premiered in 1981. as well as those who started their adventure with Nintendo Switch. Until Nintendo and Universal release an official statement, however, Donkey Kong Country fans will just have to keep their fingers crossed!
