Robocop : Rogue City has received a new trailer! It shows how brutal the gameplay will be. Sequels fell out of plans, and the game’s reboot in 2010 was not met with favorable reviews from critics. However, it must be admitted that it earned a decent amount. MGM and Amazon are interested in continuing the RoboCop series , especially in this vibrant era of reinvented franchises. On paper, the project sounds amazing, but it’s all about how it’s done.
A new trailer for RoboCop: Rogue City has appeared online , showing the titular law enforcement officer on patrol in the run-down neighborhoods of Old Detroit . He enters the building and knocks on the door, only to find out that he needs a warrant. He starts looking for evidence before returning and breaking down the door. From there, RoboCop engages in a very violent firefight with gallons of blood spilling and limbs exploding. He has always been quite known for his high level of violence. It looks like the game will keep it in style.

It looks like RoboCop: Rogue City is trying to do more than just a shooter. He wants to highlight RoboCop’s real skills in police work, showing how he talks to people or collects evidence. At the same time, it is a brute force to be reckoned with. It remains to be seen to what extent the game will actually catch on. Will players lean towards detective action, versus flaming guns. If there is a healthy balance, it can be a really interesting and fun game.
RoboCop: Rogue City will be released on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC in September.
