The CW has made a teaser for Return to Rivervale , the twenty-first episode of the sixth season of Riverdale . As the title suggests, Archie and the crew return to an alternate reality – Rivervale – but it may turn out that not everything is what it seems. The episode will air on Sunday 17 July.
The sixth season of Riverdale is nearing its end and is set to be the penultimate. In the twentieth episode , which kicks off Sunday 17th July, we will return to Rivervale, an alternative version of the town we know. CW TV released a preview, as well as an episode description:
Archie (KJ Apa) and the crew gather information on Percival (guest star Chris O’Shea) so they can better understand where he’s coming from and use it to their advantage. But when their plan turns out to have unexpected results, the team has to pay a terrible price.
Lili Reinhart, Camila Mendes, Cole Sprouse, Madelaine Petsch, Mädchen Amick, Casey Cott, Vanessa Morgan, Charles Melton, Erinn Westbrook and Drew Ray Tanner will also star.
