Rick Riordan reported on Twitter about ongoing projects. Kane’s Chronicles is being adapted by Netflix. The daughter of the deep is handled by Aditi Brennan Kapil under the supervision of Disney. Percy Jackson and the Olympian Gods, in turn, is being adapted as a series by Disney +. This confirmation is very good news for fans waiting for a good screening of the adventures of the demigods.
Earlier (in August) there was a “very positive ” meeting about the new project, the actors of the previous film assured that they support Rick and will help as much as they can. Still, the cast was not revealed. Neither Disney Entertainment nor 20th Century Studios made any official news. The author’s tweet, however, ensures that production continues.
