Once again in recent months, fans of “Rick and Morty” have reason to be happy. The airing of the second half of season four has recently started, and the first details of season five have also emerged. Now the creator of the animation has revealed details about the future of production.
The news about season six came from Dan Harmon on Instagram. In the post about the meeting of the cast of the series Community via videoconference, the author of both productions revealed that work on the next episodes of Rick and Morty is already underway, despite the still unfinished fifth series. It is also the first mention of such a distant future of the series.
In announcing the news, Harmon also wrote about who is working on the script. It will be Alex Rubens, who has already written the stories for the animation. The writer has been going through a hard time in his life lately. The day before the entry appeared, he was to attend a funeral that was streamed online.
Recordings for Rick and Morty season five have not yet started , but since most of the acting productions have been postponed, work on the show may soon accelerate. This is possible due to the fact that a significant part of the work on animations can be done by the creators at home, thus not endangering their health and life, and without violating the restrictions caused by the coronavirus.
