The power of kindness
Elven women are small creatures resembling humans. Their characteristic features are pointed hats and exceptional manual skills useful in the life of a fairy-tale community. As a result of a misunderstanding with people, they have been living in a small enclave underground for 200 years. For the community living on the surface, their existence seems impossible and remains in the realm of fairy tales and fairy tales. This state is contrary to the centuries-old traditions of elfin helping people. The reluctance of the townspeople caused the elfin flee deep underground. There, the elders established a new order that under no circumstances would they appear on the surface, and would devote all their free time to perfecting new skills useful in the life of the community. Among the outstanding young craftsmen of the underground, the talented elfin Kipp stands out. On the opposite side is the clumsy Elf. The girl absolutely cannot be denied involvement in helping friends, but unfortunately any such kindness always ends in a disaster. Motivated to finally find herself in some useful field, the heroine decides to break the prohibition of the elders and flees to the surface with her friend Buck. Primus Kipp, who involuntarily also becomes a participant in later adventures, sets off in pursuit of them. After 200 years of isolation, the elves find their way to the modern city of Cologne. Living in a metropolis motivates the resolute Elf to act. The fates of the three travel companions meet the confectioner Theo. This baking master is about to close his business as a result of debts and a conflict with his former partner, privately his brother, Bruno. At this point, the clumsy Elfie puts on an ambitious plan – learns the pastry from Theo, and the business will come out of debt.

Breaking down barriers
The plot of the animation is complex. It is a story about overcoming your own weaknesses and pursuing your goals despite the hardships of life. The main character of the film is Elfie, but the fate of Theo, devastated by the situation, is parallel. It is difficult to say which of these stories is more interesting. On the one hand, we have a girl full of life suffocating in a parochial community. On the other hand, we observe a conflict between the brothers that leads to the bankruptcy of one of them. An energetic rookie and a pumped-out champion – this tandem is only seemingly doomed to failure. The new animation teaches that by rejecting prejudices, both humans and elves can create beautiful things.

Movie Rating
When we go with the children to the cinemas on The Elfkins, we get a solid dose of life sciences in a very good graphic standard, with music that is pleasant to the ear and a large dose of situational humor. Older viewers may think of similarities to such productions as: Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs or The Smurfs . In addition, the viewer gets to know new fairy-tale creatures straight from the Germanic beliefs. As I mentioned, this animation does not contain a single flat story. In my opinion, this is a movie that I can successfully recommend to both the youngest and much older recipients. Nobody should complain about boredom when going to the cinema with the family.
We would like to thank the Cinema City chain for the opportunity to watch the movie The Elfkins!
