This is another Resident Evil Re: Verse delay . Initially, in January this year, it was said that the production would allow players to play as various famous heroes of the universe to fight in iconic locations to the death. This took place before the premiere of Resident Evil: Village , which debuted on May 7. In the meantime, there was also a presentation of the beta version of the spin-off, so it’s understandable that players expected it to come out with the latest installment of the series or shortly thereafter. However, this did not happen, and we already know that the multiplayer will be played at an unspecified time in 2022.
As we read in the latest Capcom statement, published on Twitter of the Resident Evil series , the game’s premiere was originally planned in July this year. It turned out, however, that the studio needs more time to provide its audience with smooth gameplay. More information will be provided soon.
As mentioned, Resident Evil Re: Verse is expected to be released in 2022, however the exact release date is unknown. Assuming it will be available on previously announced platforms, it will be played by PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC users. Thanks to backward compatibility, the title will also appear on the latest generation consoles.
As for Resident Evil: Village itself, Capcom has already announced that the production will get more DLC.
