“Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness” – new news and trailer

The “Resident Evil” brand, which celebrates the quarter-century of its existence this year, will soon see some new productions. Among them are the game (“Resident Evil Village”), the movie (“Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City”) and the animated series with the subtitle “Infinite Darkness”. New details about the latest project have been revealed along with a new trailer.

The new material focuses on the character of Leon S. Kenndy. We see the protagonist being brought to the White House by helicopter to meet the US President. There he meets Claire Redfield, with whom he survived the destruction of Raccoon City. It quickly turns out that one of the safest places in the world can be a death trap.

The most important information that appeared in the trailer is, of course, the release date. The series will debut on Netflix in July this year. Thanks to this fragment, it can be concluded that the production can be used as a kind of prequel for Resident Evil 6 . It was in that installment of the series that there was a mention of Leon witnessing the president’s transformation into a zombie.

The names of the director and composer responsible for the music to the picture were also revealed. Behind the camera will be Eiichiro Hasumi, and the soundtrack will be written by Yugo Kanno. The first gentleman admitted that working on this title brought him a lot of joy. Hasumi also revealed that he made every effort to make this animated production look as realistic as possible.
