Mortal Kombat 1 adds Reptile to its growing roster of fighters. After the devs teased fans about the aforementioned hero, the latest trailer tells us that he will appear on the screen after all!
Mortal Kombat is one of the most iconic game franchises that has been around for over 30 years and always maintains a high level of quality. The series has spawned numerous film adaptations and even a crossover with DC Comics many years ago. In addition to the high level of violence, the title also attracts with amazing characters. Scorpion, Sub-Zero, Raiden, and others have become gaming icons, and all together create very complex, detailed stories. Many of them will also be seen in Mortal Kombat 1and the list gets even bigger. It has just been revealed that Reptile will also be among the heroes. He has been one of the fan favorites since he appeared in the first game as one of the villains. He has had quite a significant impact on fans due to his appearance and special abilities that are heavily based on his lizard nature. He has a long tongue which he used to whip and strangle opponents in addition to more standard fighting moves. He also has the ability to spit acid, which can melt his enemies in an incredibly brutal manner. Now he’s making a big return to the series in Mortal Kombat 1 as part of the core lineup.
The trailer also features Ashrah and Havik as playable fighters. There will also be such characters as Johnny Cage, Scorpion and Liu Kang. In addition to this, NetherRealm has also confirmed several DLC characters for Kombat Pack 1. These will be Peacemaker, Homelander and Omni-Man. It remains only to wait for the premiere!
