Rockstar Games has created many amazing worlds that literally serve as playgrounds. In Grand Theft Auto and Red Dead Redemption, you can really do anything you want, from hunting, robbing banks and stores, to riding a motorcycle in the mountains or flying a fighter jet. These worlds serve the imagination of players and allow them to make all sorts of combinations, some of which are enhanced by, for example, modifications to the PC player.
One of the latest examples can be found in the Red Dead Redemption 2 mod , where you can get a job. While some criticized the game for being slow, boring and too realistic, one player thought these quests could really bring the game to life. Modders Bolmin and Shtivi have released Jobs Expanded and an improved mod that allows you to find a new mundane profession. Just find a bulletin board in any major city and choose one of the available concerts. You can be a chauffeur driving people in a wagon, an armed wagon guard, a postman, a dock caretaker, a ranch worker, and so on. Of course, some of them are more exciting than others. Either way, if you want to play a role in Red Dead Redemption 2, this is probably the way to go.
Red Dead Online has more or less evolved into a role-playing game, although the lack of support has probably prevented it from being the proper Wild West simulator it could be. Nevertheless, people have made it their own fun. The amount of interactivity allows you to delve into the world and naturally play many roles. These mods really up the ante and allow you to actually exist in this world in addition to killing.
