What is Xbox Game Pass or PlayStation Plus, players do not need to be presented. The form of game subscription is becoming an increasingly popular form of communing with digital entertainment. However, it turns out that some also see it as an opportunity for promotion, which did not escape our native Ministry of Digitization. The state authority informed about the PSG project, i.e. the Polish Games Subscription, which is not only to compete with the solutions mentioned in the first sentence, but also to promote Polish game developers, as the planned subscription is to be limited only to domestic developers. As announced:
PSG is to promote native artists by showing the world how outstanding productions are the work of teams from Poland.
Thanks to this model of promotion, apart from such well-known companies as CD-Projekt or Techland, independent developers will be able to present their works, showing how colorful our country is in terms of game development. What will the project look like financially, how much will the subscription cost and, above all, when can we expect its launch? We’ll have to wait a little longer for the details.
