Fans of the brave Amazonian princess wonder if they will see Gal Gadot on the big screen again ? The answer is yes, and the new production is to be the culmination of the Wonder Woman trilogy .
Warner Bros. Pictures continues to plan to create new adventures of Princess Diana with Gal Gadot starring Patty Jenkins. Unfortunately, the confirmed details end there. The current status of the project is “in progress”, and the company has not yet announced an official release date for the film with the working title Wonder Woman 3 .
Gadot and Jenkins are currently working on a film about Cleopatra. The director also plans to make a movie for Disney from the Star Wars universe called Rogue Squadron . Only after these productions are finished will Gadot and Jenkins have enough time to make Wonder Woman 3 . To sum up, we can wait even a few years for Diana’s new adventures. Producer Charles Roven was reluctant to deal with the issue of the new film. He briefly said that “the work on the film is just ongoing”.
Moreover, he added:
We’re starting to create something that has arms and legs. We’ve found the direction we’re going. But this is definitely something we want to do and complete.
Charles Roven has produced virtually every DCEU movie, including Man of Steel , Batman v Superman , Justice League , Suicide Squad , Wonder Woman and Wonder Woman 1984 . In addition, he worked on films such as Batman: The Beginning and The Dark Knight .
I only work on films that were made because of Man of Steel. So if Henry Cavill isn’t Superman anymore, then neither will I be associated with the Superman movies.
Most recently, the producer worked on James Gunn’s The Suicide Squad . Everyone announces this film as “something absolutely twisted”, for which we, as viewers, are “not ready”. The production is to debut in theaters this summer, more specifically on August 6, 2021.
