The intriguing soulslike is coming to computers and consoles later this week! The Cenega publishing house is responsible for Polish distribution.
On September 27, Code Vein – the latest game from the Japanese Shift studio, known from the God Eater series, will hit the market . Both titles have some common features like manga styling, but they differ significantly. Code Vein will take players into a post-apocalyptic fantasy world not long after huge spikes pierced the Earth’s crust. This event caused the fall of civilization, but few managed to survive. We are talking about vampires endowed with supernatural abilities, forming a community called Vein. It is one of its members that the players will have to play. For now, the plot is shrouded in mystery, but the creators talk about the need to control vampire hunger and a trip to hell to fight demonic forces.
In terms of gameplay, Code Vein is less inspired by God Eater and more by From Software’s Dark Souls cycle . This means that we will get the action RPG titlewith a very arcade combat system based on character animations. Each death will also require you to repeat a large part of the game, and working out the bosses should be quite a challenge. To make things a little easier, the player will never have to face the threat alone. The cooperation mode will be available. While playing alone, you will be able to choose a companion controlled by artificial intelligence. As the heroes are vampires, an important element of the mechanics is to suck blood from numerous monsters. The accumulated fluid will allow you to use special powers such as strengthening the protagonist, weakening enemies or performing attacks that are otherwise unavailable.
Code Vein is coming to PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
