A blockbuster movie starring Ryan Reynolds as… Pikachu. Maciej Stuhr gave the floor in the Polish dubbing version. This is the first live-action film in the Pokemon world.
Pokémon is a phenomenon that has fascinated millions of people around the world for nearly a quarter of a century. Pokémon: Detective Pikachu ”is the first feature-length live-action film in the Pokemon world. The image, which turned out to be one of the highest-grossing film productions of 2019, will debut on 4K UHD Blu-ray, Blu-ray 3D, Blu-ray and DVD on October 16. The Galapagos company is responsible for the distribution of the film in Poland.
The film begins with the mysterious disappearance of private detective Harry Goodman, his 21-year-old son Tim (Justice Smith) tries to figure out what happened. He is assisted in his investigation by Harry’s ex-partner Detective Pikachu (Ryan Reynolds), a hilarious, witty, and cute Pokémon that can even stun him. When Tim and Pikachu discover that they can communicate with each other, they join forces to unravel a mysterious mystery. They experience a suspenseful, great adventure. Together, they look for clues, traversing the neon-lit streets of Ryme City – a modern metropolis where people and Pokémon live side by side in a hyper-realistic world. They soon discover a shocking conspiracy that could end this harmonious coexistence …
