It is the only event in Poland that combines pop culture with science. The festival events include a two-day conference, meetings with authors, lectures and lectures, workshops and exhibitions, during which we will be giving away thousands of commissions from Poland, Europe and the USA. In addition, visitors can expect many other attractions, all for free.
Four days with comics, i.e. the Poznań Festival of Comic Art !!! The festival will include:
– lectures (all will take place in the Library building), divided into three thematic blocks – superhero, manga and post-apo,
– meetings with authors, among others with the editors of the anthology “Rzeźzin”, Tomasz Kontny, Herzyk, Bartosz Minkiewicz,
– scriptwriting workshops with Tomasz Kontny, creating the world and populating it with heroes with Tomasz Spell and conducted by employees and students of the University of Arts in Poznań (screen printing, linocut and offset printing) – registration required for the workshops,
– exhibitions: works by Edward Lutczyn in the Main Hall of the University Library in Poznań, works by Max Skorwider at Barak Kultury at al. Marcinkowski, “The Invincible” by Rafał Mikołajczyk (comic adaptation of a novel by Stanisław Lem) at the Centrala Gallery at Ratajski Square, an exhibition of works from the comic anthology “Rzezzin” at the Gallery of the University Library on the ground floor, an exhibition of Edmund Hejdak’s press comics at the University Library’s E-Center and an exhibition of comics Father Rene (only for adults) at the University of Arts,
– comic book fair in the Library building.
As every year, participants of the festival will receive free notebooks from the USA and zines of Polish and European artists prepared especially for our event. You will be able to get them by taking part in individual points of the program.
Traditionally, participation in all events is free for each participant !!! We provide great fun and free comics !!!
