"Netflix" has just confirmed the cooperation with The Pokemon Company, under which "Pokémon Journeys: The Series" will hit its platform.
“Netflix” has secured the rights to the 23rd season of the series, “Pokémon” , titled “Pokémon Journeys” . This means that the new version will be the original production of the streaming giant in the United States. This gives the platform the exclusivity to show new pokemon adventures.
The new series, debuting on June 12 , will be available only on “Netflix” . It is not known yet what it will look like in other countries, but The Hollywood Reporter says that it is still possible and very possible that the series will debut in other markets.
“Pokémon Journeys” follows Ash and his faithful pokemon, Pikachu. Together, they go to the opening of Cerise’s lab, a research facility dedicated to Pokemons from around the world. There they meet Goha, another boy enthusiastic about the project. Together, they are asked by Professor Cerise to become researchers and his assistants.
