The 9th edition of the Pixel Heaven Games Festival – one of the largest and most important events in the gamedev industry in Europe will start today at 4:30 pm!
Everyone will find something for themselves at the three-day Pixel Heaven 2021 Festival. A number of retro-style attractions await guests, including an 8 and 16 bit games zone with numerous tournaments, arcade machines, pinball machines. There will also be attractions without electricity – in a special zone, in addition to board games, you will be able to see an exhibition of figurines and gadgets from the Star Wars universe, Apple Show or the Pixel Marketplace.
Pixel Heaven 2021 is also a celebration of independent game developers, so as part of the Pixel Expo, large and small studios from all over the country will present their games. In addition, on Saturday, October 9, the prestigious Pixel Awards Europe 2021 awards will be presented at the Elektronik Cinema. The industry part of the event will be complemented by Gamedev & Creative Careers Expo 2021 – i.e. stands of companies that will present themselves as employers.
This year, we will also pay tribute to Sir Clive Sinclair, creator of the ZX Spectrum, who passed away on September 16. There will be special presentations, film screenings, and a separate ZX Hall dedicated to computers, gadgets, souvenirs and literature related to these groundbreaking computers. On this occasion, Pixel Heaven 2021 will be graced with the presence of family members: Crispin’s son and cousin Grant.
