On February 7-9, 2020, another edition of the Fantasmagoria convention took place in Gniezno. It was the eleventh edition of this event.
The attractions of the Gniezno convention included lectures, meetings with authors, competitions, RPG sessions, workshops and exhibitions. Cosplayers could show off their costumes and compete for prizes, players had the opportunity to compete in board games, card games and battle games, and karaoke lovers could compete at the microphones.
Phantasmagoria is an intimate event which is also quite attractive for several reasons. First of all, it is a completely free convention, which attracts novice fantasy lovers, younger people and participants with less affluent wallets. Second, it takes place in the middle of winter, when the fantastic events calendar is quite empty, allowing you to bridge the gap between other events. Thirdly, for fandom players, it is an alternative to crowded, thousands of conventions, festivals and fairs, and additionally allows you to recall or realize how Pyrkon looked like a decade and a half ago.
