Marvel Studios is not slowing down so far and the current phase 4, started by Black Widow, continues to develop despite some initial setbacks. For this reason, the president of the MCU revealed to the fans what the current stage in the history of Marvel heroes is for him and his company.
There is no doubt that the content of phase 4 of Marvel Studios is already drastically different from its three predecessors, mainly characterized by such elements as:
- duration of around two years instead of three or four,
- going beyond its films and embracing original Disney + productions.
After many delays with the Covid-19 pandemic, we are finally in the middle of a phase. We already have three series and one movie behind us, and the MCU is still “on the gas,” said company president Kevin Feige. In a recent interview with Rotten Tomatoes, he introduced superhero fans to his perception of Phase 4:
In fact, Phase 4 is all about sequels and new beginnings, even in productions that seem to crown the plot. There are new beginnings in them, and that was the most exciting thing about being able to create Disney + titles. For all of us at Marvel Studios deciding to continue the story of Avengers: Endgame and Spider-Man: Far From Home and leaving the Infinity Saga behind.
The next two years on the Marvel schedule are absolutely packed with upcoming movies such as Shang-Chi and the legend of the ten rings, Eternals and Spider-Man: No Way Home. And that’s only until the end of this year. The year 2022 will bring us, for example, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, Thor: Love and Thunder, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever and many other long-awaited productions mentioned by us many times, even here .
And the MCU series to be released on Disney + in the coming years include the animated What If …? with the premiere in August, Ms. Marvel and Hawkeye debuting at the end of 2021, as well as She-Hulk , Secret Invasion, The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special in 2022 and many other projects without a specific release date.
