Rhys Frake-Waterfield has announced that his Peter Pan adaptation will be called Peter Pan: Neverland Nightmare. Unfortunately, the director does not want to provide more information about this production yet, so we will have to wait for the details of the plot.
The work of this director seems to take a specific direction: the use of the image of characters to whom no one has rights anymore and which are available for public use. Thanks to this, it can attract viewers with images of famous characters from cult animations without any legal consequences. AA Milny, the author of the first story about Pooh, to the yellow bear and his friends expired on January 1, 2022, allowing Frake-Waterfield to record his own production on them. Interestingly, The Tiger is not in his horror movie, as this one appeared in the original Winnie the Pooh a little later and is still owned by Disney.
