There is no denying the fact that for many years our beloved mercenary from the Marvel world, while carrying out his missions, encountered various, often unusual adversaries. It's time to introduce some of them. In parentheses, I give examples of comics in which you can meet a given antagonist.
Madcap
It’s hard to find another character who has had as much influence on Deadpool’s life as Madcap. Like our (anti) hero, he can regenerate and detached limbs are not a problem for him. At some point, both characters accidentally became one person. Madcap then began manifesting as a voice in Deadpool’s head for many years to come. And the culprit of all this confusion turned out to be … Thor.

Lady Death
Lady Death is exactly what her name suggests – the personification of death. She has appeared in numerous Marvel comics and has had contact with many heroes, but it was with Deadpool that she developed a closer acquaintance. To say that the relationship between them is quite complicated is like saying nothing. Sometimes lovers, other times opponents. Let’s add Thanos to that and we are soon witnessing a crazy love triangle. This is somewhat of a tragic story, as Deadpool and Lady Death have a lot of affection for each other despite not being able to build a long-term relationship.

Former US Presidents
The experiment to clone former US presidents is not going well. Deadpool is tasked with cleaning up the mess caused by this scientific misconception. Our mercenary travels the world in search of the evil clones of presidents Abraham Lincoln and George Washington to stop them from destroying America.

Deadpool
Deadpool meets himself more than once in the comics. In the series The Deadpool Corp, he builds a team with his alternate versions from different realities (Lady Deadpool, Kid Deadpool and Headpool, who is the flying zombie head, are just some evidence of the rich imagination of comic book makers). However, in the Deadpool Kills series Deadpool Wade Wilson comes across himself from a different reality, and both mercenaries do everything in their power to kill each other.

Hit-Monkey
A monkey wearing a suit and using two pistols to eliminate its targets cannot be taken too seriously. Therefore, such a character would not fit anywhere else but the world of Deadpool. Wade had stumbled upon her on several occasions, and watching the two clash always carried a fair amount of surrealism with it. As a curiosity, you can add the fact that the monkey also came across Spider-Man, often with our mercenary at his side. ( Deadpool Corps: Rank and Foul # 1 )

Id the Selfish Moon
Id was born in the Black Galaxy which is quite a deserted place. The moon wanted to be known and, finding the place of its conception too boring, decides to travel the galaxy in search of entertainment. With no effect. Realizing that he is one of a kind, Id begins to hate those who are capable of experiencing any kind of belonging and decides to start destroying other planets. Deadpool, in order to restore his status as the best mercenary that has ever existed, decides to deal with the selfish moon.

Sauron
Although this character appeared in the X-Men comic book series , I conclude that he would be a great fit for another bizarre antagonist for Deadpool. Sauron, apart from sharing his name with the antagonist of the Lord of the Rings saga , is a scientist and enemy of the X-Men who, after a long stay in the prehistoric part of the Earth existing in the Marvel universe, is turned into a dinosaur. It would be interesting to see Sauron fight Deadpool, not least because of his ability to drain the life force from his opponents.

Summary
I hope that my humble list of a few antagonists who stood in the way of Deadpool will prove effective in encouraging those who have not yet had time to learn about the comic adventures of a self-regenerating mercenary. I guarantee you that when it comes to his unusual adversaries, the above list is just the tip of the iceberg. Peculiar enemies are one of the many elements that distinguish Wade Wilson’s adventures from other heroes from the Marvel universe, and that’s why I love the series in which he plays the first fiddle.
