Paramount Quits “Star Trek 4”

There will be no new Star TrekSource informs . He claims that all films intended to be made through the Paramount Studio have been dropped.

According to Giantfreakinrobot.com , Paramout is no longer interested in the Star Trek universe . The studio believes that it has the form of television entertainment, which is not conducive to the prospect of moving the production to the big screen. Plans are abandoned not only for the fourth part (which would be a sequel to Strar Trek: Into the Unknown ), but also for two other films that are at different stages of production. Among them was a film directed by Noah Hawley. The director himself has revealed that Paramout has suspended production of his film. It turns out, however, that this is more than a temporary delay. Perhaps that is why Hawley talks freely about the plot, which until now has been kept secret. Currently, the director has focused on working on the fourth season of the Amazon seriesFargo . It also means we won’t see the new Star Trek directed by Quentin Tarantino. It was supposed to refer to the episode of A Piece of Action  in which the heroes find themselves on a planet full of gangsters.

However, this is currently unofficial information that Paramount has not confirmed. The fans are waiting for the studio’s statement in the hope that they will see 3 new films from their favorite universe.
