Paramount announced that the Sonic sequel will be released on December 20, 2024. While this is good news for fans of the lightning fast hedgehog, Smurf fans must wait for their film until December 14, 2025.
Nevertheless, the expectation may prove fruitful, as Ramsey Naito, the president of Paramount Animation and Nickelodeon Animation, mentioned that the production will stick to its original roots, and at the same time will saturate fans with smurf tracks, which will be an interesting twist to an already great story and characters.
