Opolcon is the largest free convention in Poland. As every year, we can count on various types of lectures, shows and competitions. What was Tolkien inspired by? Was the destruction of the Death Star an inside job? These and other questions will be answered by the speakers of the Opole convention!
People who collect autographs will feel at home here. Meetings with authors at this convention are commonplace. And there will be plenty of new and, above all, well-known personalities.
If you love cosplay, it’s worth not to skip this event. A competition has been announced, in which the best outfit from a game, movie, book or any other work of culture will be selected!
Esports fans don’t be afraid. Opolcon has not forgotten about you. This year, tournaments from games such as Leauge of Legends and Heartstone are planned . The possibility of cheering on your favorite favorites or even taking part in the fights for the Opolcon cup is open to everyone.
There will also be something for enthusiasts of RPG and LARP sessions. More information and registration on this subject can be found on the event website .
Remember, however, that this year, due to the pandemic situation, a limit of people on the premises of the event was introduced.
If you don’t live close to Opole, don’t worry! Pack your bags, take a bag, a snack and remember that there is a place in the Sleep Room for everyone!
PS: We have heard that this year’s edition will be occupied by one whole floor with board games. It will be interesting.
