Open Your Eyes is a Netflix series for young viewers. The psychological drama with elements of science-fiction is based on the book Second Chance by Katarzyna Berenika Miszczuk, directed by Anna Jadowska and Adrian Panek.
Maria Wawreniuk as Julia – a young actress debuting on the screen in the lead role. Following a tragic accident, Julka is taken to an amnesia treatment center. The series also featured Marta Nieradkiewicz, Marcin Czarnik, Wojciech Dolatowski, Zuzanna Galewicz, Klaudia Koścista, Michał Sikorski and Sara Celler-Jezierska.
About the series:
Julka ends up in an amnesia treatment center as a result of a tragic accident. In the center, she establishes relationships with other patients with similar experiences and injuries. She also meets the mysterious Adam. The boy becomes her guide there. However, when Julka begins to have strange dreams that seem too real to her, she wonders if the place she is in is the one she has believed them to be so far. The girl tries to escape from the center, while trying to discover the truth: this world is not what it seems.
