Over 200 cosplayers , including Anri Okita, take part in the #passthevivrecard virtual challenge , in which they play as one of the characters from the popular anime series “One Piece”.
Also attending the event is Anri Okita with over 1 million Instagram followers and 391,000 Twitter followers.
The frames of the challenge video so far have been assembled by Dave Schot (@shotcaller_cosplats on Instagram).
“This movie was made to show that no matter what the crisis, no matter what the event, we are with the series, the fans and we will stick together no matter what,” says Tivo Mendoza , who also helped organize the challenge.
The idea for the hashtag and the #passthevivrecard challenge was taken from the recent #passthebrush contest that went viral on social media last month. The participants of the challenge embellished themselves with make-up and clothes while staying at home.
We can expect that fans of other series will join the challenge soon.
