The Polish company CreativeForge Games, known for its titles such as “Hard West” or “Phantom Doctrine”, announced that it had signed a contract with PROCIDIS for the production of a game based on the popular animated series “There Was Life”. The project will be implemented by the Warsaw studio SlavGames.
Once upon a time it is a popular French animated series from the late 1980s. It tells about the structure of the human body and more. Now the Polish company will transfer French production to the world of games. The new project is to combine elements of arcade, action and education. The premiere was initially planned for 2023 . The game is to hit all modern platforms: PC, PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo Switch.
The game is to be supervised by the SlavGames studio , which has been part of CreativeForge Games for several months . Krzysztof Magda, president of SlavGames , describes this production as follows:
We are going to create a game based on the TV series Once Upon a Time . It will be a title that combines arcade, action and educational elements – we want the educational thread to be framed in a form that is attractive to players. The game will feature characters well-known to fans of the animated series, and the plot of the series will be developed by us. The premiere of the game is planned for 2023. The publisher will be CreativeForge Games. SlavGames acts as a producer and co-publisher supporting CFG in this area.
