Paramount Pictures has released the official trailer for the full-length animated film about the adventures of Spongebob SquarePants – “The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge on the Run.” Sponge embarks on a mission to find a missing pet, Gary the snail. In the film we will see characters known from the cartoon, among others. Patrick’s Day, Skalmar, Mr. Crab, as well as new, breathtaking heroes.
The animation directed by Tim Hill, the writer of the original series, remains faithful to the original, not only in how it looks, but also how it sounds. The voices from the original cast are returning – in the English version we will hear Bill Fagerbakke, Clancy Brown, Lori Alan, Rodger Bumpass, Carolyn Lawrence and Tom Kenny as Spongebob. Kelly Marie Tran, Awkwafina and Reggie Watts will also join. We do not know the details of the Polish language version, both the title and the dubbing version. It is worth mentioning, however, that the original music will be composed by Hans Zimmer himself.
The new version of Spongebob will hit theaters in late spring, May 22, 2020.
