Until now, the publisher of the Xenomorph and Yautja stories was Dark Horse Comics. Since Disney bought out Fox about some brands, it was quiet, while work on others was in full swing. The Aliens and the Predator were the ones that aroused considerable interest, but lacked any announcements about them. Now that has changed, at least in terms of comics. It was noted that the creatures will not be incarnated in the main Marvel universe.
Although there is no specific information yet about when new stories with cult aliens will hit the shelves and who will be working on them, the first graphics have appeared to promote their transition to the new release. The author of these is the recognized artist David Finch. Particularly noteworthy is the graphics with Predator.
According to the announcement, Marvel does not intend to build the Alien and Predator in its comics completely from scratch. Instead, the threads started in various films are to be continued. Characters known from those productions will also return.
Does this news mean that we will also hear about new movies soon? It is better not to speculate about this for now, but it seems that Disney is not going to easily give up two very profitable brands.
