Hi, I’m Smurf Gourmand!
In the first part of the comic we meet Smurf the Goblin, who – as we all probably know well – will not miss any opportunity to eat something delicious! To the surprise of the reader, the blue hero is not hungry this time. Why? The answer may be surprising – in secret, in secret, Smurf ate a sweet raspberry mousse with leaves of smurf, prepared in advance for all the inhabitants of the village. Papa Smurf tries to solve this problem, after all, his charges are dissatisfied with this turn of the matter, and he orders Gobbler to mingle a sweet surprise for his friends as compensation. This task does not seem difficult, but when Gargamel and the cat Clapper appear nearby, all the inhabitants of the Smurf village are in danger. In comics, the big, frames rich in many details in a square layout. The youngest readers can admire the blue heroes from many perspectives and enjoy reading this mini-book.
About emotions with a child psychologist
Part two of the album is advice that was developed by Diane Drory, a child psychologist and psychoanalyst. She openly asks the reader – Is being a gourmand bad? , What is your favorite dish? , What does it mean when we say that someone “bad nourishes”? , You can become a champion Łasuch good nutrition ?. Papa Smurf echoes: How long does it take you to eat a packet of sweets? , What you think is a healthy diet? , Do you know what the bad side of being overweight? , What dish could come up with?. This section also includes advice from the oldest Smurf in the Village on healthy eating. Additionally, in the Polish language version of the comic, the psychologist Sylwia Jatczak once again shared her opinion on the series. Her thoughts are to contribute to the conversation of parents or guardians with children about healthy, rational eating. The mechanisms that guide us when we feel like eating something delicious, but not necessarily healthy, are not always understandable to us (gourmands). Jatczak explains how to use a comic book functionally and change bad habits.
About the comic
The authors of the Smurf proposal for the youngest are Falzar and Thierry Culliford, a descendant of Peyo (screenplay), Antonello Dalena (drawings) and Paolo Maddaleni (colors). Marta Mosiewicz is responsible for the translation, whose translation should be appreciated by every fan of the Smurf universe. In the first part of the comic, which is only thirty pages long, we get to know the hero’s story, then we have the opportunity to get acquainted with the creative ideas of a child psychologist that will help the youngest and their parents overcome their fears. Only the edition may raise doubts – a thin booklet will quickly deteriorate if it is repeatedly read by children and their parents. Nevertheless, let’s not worry too much!
