Everything was announced on Twitter by Jami O’Brien – showrunner and executive producer of the picture. The creator thanked the actors and the rest of the crew working on the series, including Joe Hill, who also served as executive producer. You can read the full statement of O’Brien below.
In NOS4A2, viewers followed the actions of Victoria “Vic” McQueen (Ashleigh Cummings), who, using her supernatural abilities, tracked down the vampire kidnapper Charlie Manx (Zachary Quinto). In the second season – ending in the USA on August 23 – Manx chased the protagonist and her son in order to get revenge.
If someone still has little of the world created by Joe Hill, we have good news. The author is already planning to write a NOS4A2 prequel . The story is to focus on Maggie Leigh, who was played by Jahkara Smith in the series. Hill had thought about writing this novel before the premiere of the film, but after seeing the actress play the role of Maggie, he had to change the way he viewed the character so far. At the moment the title is planned to be The Crooked Alley .
