Nightfell is the setting for the fifth edition of Dungeons & Dragons , which will be released on Kickstarter on June 30, 2020. Its author is the Italian illustrator Angelo Peluso. He has worked on such titles as Starfinder , Numenara , Shadow of the Demon Lord and Pathfinder 2nd edition . He was assisted at work by, among others Andrea Back or Michele Paroli.
Nightfell is a new world, made for one of the most popular RPGs in the world. The players will face the place where the sun “died” and eternal night reigns. In the darkness there are undead, ghosts, demons and other creatures of the night, and the evil gods want to possess the souls of wanderers. The heroes must not only not lose themselves in despair and save the inhabitants, but also not lose their own identity. Will they make it?
It is worth adding that Nightfell , although embedded in the fifth edition of D&D , offers players several new options. Several races have been added, such as First People – Anireth, Moon Satyrs – Rizardin, and Heroes of the Night. New classes also emerged, including the Moon Cultists and Masters of Tradition. The creators also proposed unique archetypes for each of the classes available so far. In addition, more options for origin appeared. An interesting solution is also to supplement the bestiary with monsters known from Italian folklore.
