Sion Sono is a Japanese director with an amazing vision. Movies like Tokyo Tribe, Antyporno, Suicide Club or Let’s have fun in Hell are productions that you either love or hate. Sono mixes genres, periods in history, masters the art of storytelling in an unconventional way and presents the plot in such a way that the viewer eagerly awaits the further development of events.
Prisoners of the Ghostland is a mix, chaos and neo-noir. The trailer follows the aesthetics of post-apocalypse, samurai Japan and American cowboys at once. An interesting combination of styles is completed by the cast and a promising script, and the icing on the cake is music, composed by Joseph Trapanese ( The Greatest Showman, Robin Hood, Tron: Rebellion )
In the role of the main character on an almost suicide mission, we will see the amazing Nicolas Cage.
